Adventures In Time Surfing: Flying Monkey Craft Brewery

Let’s check in on the Canadian craft beer scene for a quick trip!

I’ve heard of Flying Monkey, but never had a chance to try one of their beers.

Let’s look at this one, not a huge head. The head in the photo evaporated within about 30 seconds and like the Other Half Riwaka beer that I recently reviewed it looks like orange juice.

There isn’t a strong nose.

But when I start tasting it, I get a lot of the things I love in an IPA.

When I checked out the hop profile, cascade was one of the hops listed. And, that is my favorite hop.

In theory, you are supposed to get some blood orange from this one, but I get more of the orange and mango.

I like the citrus of this.

Another summer beer that I’m having at the end of December, 2020…whatever, right?!

This one is a good one and I wish I had a lot more words to describe it, but let me give you this:

• Smooth

• Citrus

• Crisp

I’ll give this one a 90/100.
