They’ve told me there would be glitter in this one and I don’t see any.
From my understanding of the world of sour beers, this is one of the go-to sours, a must have even.
Like all sours, you do get the sour nose and there is a hint of sweetness in the nose here as well. Since it is brewed with a “fruity cereal” I’d expect nothing less.
This one clocks in at 5.5% and is local to me.
Let’s see if we can get something interesting out of it.
I’ve mentioned in the past that I’m not a huge fan of sours, but I do know folks that love them.
Like all of the sours I’ve had before, this one is a bit one note to me. My palate is overwhelmed by the sour taste.
I don’t get any of the cereal’s sweetness in the beer unless it happens to cut the sourness that is present in a sour.
Also, there is no glitter.
I’m not going to belabor this review because sours aren’t my thing and I think it is totally okay to admit that.
Let’s give this one a gentleman’s C and move on. 70/100
